There was simply no one in the room whose job it was to connect every decision back to the owner's interests. I've spent my career being that person.
My background spans high-end residential construction and design preservation. I have worked alongside architects, engineers, and contractors long enough to understand how each one thinks, where each one's priorities lie, and where the gaps between them tend to open. Those gaps are where your money goes. My job is to close them.
